A Partner in Your Vision
You’re here because you need a direct response copywriter. No doubt you are looking for someone who can deliver on sales letters, course descriptions, email autoresponders, and articles.
You need a writer who will take the time to get to know you and your business in order to uncover your unique selling proposition.
Most importantly, you need a partner. Someone you can run ideas by, brainstorm, and collaborate with.
As your partner, I will work with you to establish bonds with current and prospective clients by putting out emails and articles on a consistent basis that are informative and fun to read while also incentivizing the prospect to take action. Together we will create content that offers entertainment, inspiration, education, AND sells products!
When you outsource your copywriting to freelancers, you eliminate the baggage that comes with in-house staff writers: salaries, benefits, training, burnout, and on-the-clock time wasting. However, you often sacrifice quality and commitment in the process.
I offer you the best of both worlds: the freedom and flexibility of a freelancer with the dedication of a staff writer. Over the years, my clients and colleagues have praised me for my hard work, reliability, and positive attitude. I will work with you to write a piece that fits your needs and accomplishes your vision, finding out everything I can about your product and target audience.
Here at Word Arcs, I will help you find just the right words to bring your product to life.
Meet Your Copywriter
I’m Kate Findley, a freelance copywriter specializing in education, health, and personal development. I have developed content for a wide range of clients including Brian Tracy, Wondrium (formerly known as The Great Courses), Eden Method (founded by Energy Medicine pioneer Donna Eden), Keck Graduate Institute, New Mexico Highlands University, the Release Technique, and Kris Dillard.
I have also developed extensive content for my own coaching business, including website copy, emails, autoresponders, and landing pages. Selling my own services has provided me with invaluable experience in writing copy that generates sales and leads while building lasting relationships!
Having worked on the publishing staff of a literary press, I am a meticulous editor who won’t stop until every comma is in just the right place. I read over every piece many times before hitting “send” to ensure it represents my best efforts. While I’m happy to honor any revisions you request, my goal is to minimize your workload. I’ll do my best to get it right the first time!
As a fiction author, I understand the power of stories to entertain and persuade. If you want potential customers to connect with your company, they must be able to see how you fit into their life stories and can help them to improve their lives.
My journalism background has taught me how to exhaustively research any topic and uncover the facts, all under a tight deadline. I will get to know your product or service inside and out to find your USP. Give your prospects the reassurance they need to choose you over everyone else.
I also bring my teaching experience to the table, delivering writing that informs and educates. My engaging style makes complex subject matter clear and comprehensible for any reader.
I received my BA in Cinematic Arts from the University of Southern California and my MFA in Writing from Otis College of Art and Design, where I was a top fellowship recipient. Additionally, I have won a Monthly Writing Challenge sponsored by the American Writers & Artists Inc. Professional Writers Alliance.

My wide range of writing experience on a wealth of topics has taught me how to adapt my style and tone to different audiences. From my background in writing and teaching fiction, I’ve learned how to delve inside the minds of others—in this case, your prospective customers—in order to understand their desires and what makes them tick. My experience in journalism and academia has equipped me with the solid research skills needed to deliver verifiable proof–the real features and benefits of your product. Additionally, I have painstaking attention to detail and am committed to making the final piece the best that it can be. I will communicate with you every step of the way and am open to any suggestions you may have. Your satisfaction is my highest priority.
I have been a teacher and tutor since 2011 and come from a family of teachers, so I am well acquainted with the inner workings of the education industry! More importantly, though, I have always had a deep passion for learning and a respect for the teachers and institutions who make this transaction possible. This passion shines in my copy both because I am interested in the subject matter and because I am connected to the larger purpose behind my copy. I have been a regular copywriter for both The Great Courses (now known as Wondrium) and Keck Graduate Institute, where my responsibilities include writing and editing articles, course descriptions, and social media content designed to promote brand awareness.
I write sales letters and landing pages that use the power of story to tap into your prospects’ emotional needs, demonstrating to them why your specific product is the only logical choice. I also help you to maintain a relationship with your customers as well as attract new customers with articles, emails, and social media content.
How fast I work depends on the project, but I always leave ample time for research and revision. On average, it takes me about one to three weeks to complete a project—again, this is highly dependant on length and complexity.I will take on rush projects only if my schedule allows and I know I can give you my best possible work. For all projects I do commit to, I assure you that I will hand it in far enough in advance of the deadline to give you peace of mind.
I have developed content for a wide range of clients including Brian Tracy, The Great Courses, Eden Method (founded by Energy Medicine pioneer Donna Eden), Keck Graduate Institute, Otis College of Art & Design, New Mexico Highlands University, the Release Technique, and Kris Dillard.
A Copy Critique is a review of any sales letter, landing page, article, email, or social media campaign. I will provide my honest, precise feedback on what’s working and what’s not. While I would not be rewriting the copy for you as part of this service, I will offer you a fresh perspective and help point you in the right direction for conducting revisions.
Fees are dependent on the size and scope of the project and are thus determined on a case-by-case basis. Once we have discussed your specific needs for the project, I will quote you a price based on your Return on Investment.
Got a project in mind? Contact me anytime at 310-497-8072 or [email protected] for a no-obligation quote. I look forward to hearing from you!
From higher ed to health and personal development, I help mission-driven organizations tell meaningful stories that connect, convert, and endure. Below are a few favorite projects—each one built on clarity, voice, and a deep understanding of what makes the audience care.
